Sa Terra Rotja, 5 Bedrooms Luxury Villa in Banyalbufar, Mallorca
An enchanting stone finca nestled into the terraced hillsides of the Serra de Tramuntana, offering sweeping views over olive groves to the shimmering Mediterranean
Sa Terra Rotja is an enchanting stone finca nestled into the terraced hillsides of the Serra de Tramuntana, offering sweeping views over olive groves to the shimmering Mediterranean. Set on the storied Son Bunyola estate near the village of Banyalbufar, the villa promises utmost seclusion amid a UNESCO-listed landscape. A scenic drive from Palma and the artists' haven of Deia, Sa Terra Rotja embodies the timeless spirit of Mallorcan country living.
Interiors present a refined marriage of rustic Mallorcan heritage and coastal elegance, with beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and soft blue-and-white accents. The living room invites relaxation on plush sofas dressed in cobalt cushions, its French doors opening onto the gardens. Beneath a wrought-iron chandelier, a long table in the formal dining room frames views of palms and sea, setting the scene for leisurely Mediterranean feasts. Spanning 5,307 square feet, the residence offers five bedrooms that accommodate ten guests in utmost comfort and discretion. Several open onto balconies overlooking the coastline, one featuring graphic zebra print armchairs. One bathroom features a freestanding soaking tub framed by traditional wooden shutters. Table tennis, a sound system and walk-in closets complete the roster of amenities.
Sa Terra Rotja comes to its fullest expression outdoors, where a heated pool lined with sun loungers and parasols sits among palms and Mediterranean gardens. A stone terrace with an al fresco dining table offers front-row seats to the sea, perfect for long lunches and sunset dinners. Shared tennis courts and an outdoor sound system round out this idyllic luxury vacation rental in Mallorca.
