HASSAN II MOSQUE

THE MUSEUM OF MOROCCAN JUDAISM
Considering that the Jewish community has been a great part of Moroccan history, in 1997, the Judeo-Moroccan Cultural Heritage Foundation decided to establish The Museum of Moroccan Judaism in Casablanca. Today, the museum displays mainly Jewish religious objects and pieces of Moroccan synagogues’ interiors, as well as traditional Jewish vestments. Over the years the museum has expanded its collection thanks to donations from individuals, but also by gathering objects abandoned in synagogues across the country.
RABAT ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
In downtown Rabat lies a place that will teleport you back to prehistoric times and then lead you back to the present day. Rabat Archaeological Museum displays archaeological collections from four different eras - from prehistory to Punic and Roman times, ending with the Islamic era. All of the artifacts were excavated from the grounds of Morocco at sites such as Banassa, Volubilis and Thameside.
