Jackson Hole Winery was founded in 2009 when Anthony Schroth, a winemaker based in both California and Wyoming, came up with the maverick concept — to explore the benefits of making wine at high altitudes. Jackson Hole Winery sits at the base of the Grand Teton Range at 6,229 feet and is one of the highest-altitude wineries in North America. Today, the winery produces about 4,000 cases of wine made from premium grapes grown by the winemaker Anthony Schroth in Sonoma County, California.
