Japao Private Island is an astounding getaway a mere four miles off the shores of Angra dos Reis and 105 miles west of the bustling city of Rio de Janeiro. A spellbinding region of nearly four hundred Islets comprising two thousand beaches, Japao is a veritable jewel of the Brazilian coastline.
The Island's spectacular main Villa is a masterwork of unadulterated tropical luxury. Palapa thatched rooftops, multi-level terraces, and floor-to-ceiling windows curate a delectable estate perfectly attuned to its awe-inspiring surroundings. Interiors present a delightful fusion of contemporary chic elements and regal tropical panache. Gleaming Brazilian and Balinese hardwood make up the estate, with rugged native stone accent walls imparting a bohemian organicism and earthiness.
