Monaco is one of the most deliciously gorgeous destinations in the world. It has been a favorite playground for the wealthy for years and epitomizes style and class. The Principality of Monaco – a microstate on the epic French Riviera – is the ultimate luxury destination and a mecca for those with yachts and superyachts.

It’s fitting that one of the most-awaited events each year is the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS), held over four days in the port of Hercules at the end of September—this year, it’s from September 25 to September 28.

ALL ABOUT LUXURY

Created in 1991, the MYS is divided into two main exhibition spaces: afloat and on the quays. Afloat, a hundred superyachts and 50 luxury tenders are exhibited by the market's most recognized shipbuilders and shipping brokers. Four hundred and fifty companies, handpicked and representing excellence and innovation in yachting, exhibit on the quays: designers and naval architects, equipment manufacturers, and service providers for yachts or manufacturers of tenders and nautical gadgets. In recent years, the show expanded into ultra-high-end markets linked to the superyachting lifestyle by offering luxury products, cars, motorcycles, helicopters, and private jet manufacturers.

RECOGNIZED WORLDWIDE

The MYS is recognized worldwide for its superyachts' exceptional quality and impressive sizes. Among the hundred or so units on display, some 40 new products are unveiled each year. The fleet has an average length of 50 meters, and mega yachts exceed 100 meters. The show—organized under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco—has become an emblematic event popular with private visitors who attend to discover an incredible concentration of superyachts for purchase or charter and to meet market experts.

NEW ADVENTURE AREA

The MYS new Adventure Area is set to boast a vast range of day trip and sports tenders, luxury and off-road vehicles, water toys, high-tech gadgets, helicopters, and tailor-made programs to explore the planet’s most remote destinations.

The exhibition at Monaco’s Port Hercule, Quai Antoine Ier, previously featured the Car Deck and Tenders & Toys exhibition. The Adventure Area will combine the two themes in a single location. As in previous years, about 20 tenders will be moored at Quai Jarlan.

THE DESIRE FOR MORE

The extended exhibition reflects the MYS’s continued ambition to bring visitors the finest yachting experience. Charter clients want to drive all-terrain vehicles to the North Pole, go on underwater excursions, take tender rides off the coast of secluded islands, enjoy tailor-made tours of historical and cultural sites in coastal destinations, discover animal species–while respecting their ecosystems–and even take part in scientific field trips.

Introduced in recent years, three themed exhibitions, the Sustainability Hub, the Yacht Design & Innovation Hub, and the Adventure Area, contribute to redefining yachting and appealing to a new superyacht charter clientele. The latest generation challenges present standards of the yachting industry and revolutionize luxury concepts.

2024 MONACO YACHT SUMMIT

The yacht summit allows you to discuss the possibility of renting, buying, or building a yacht. It happens on September 24, the day before the official show opening. A panel of designers, ship brokers, shipbuilders, and financial advisers will inform you about all the practical aspects you need to know to carry out your yacht project. The event is exclusively reserved for yacht owners, charterers, future clients, representatives, and wealth managers.

THE VIP SAPPHIRE EXPERIENCE

The Sapphire Experience MYS’s official VIP visit program. This concierge service will organize your tailor-made stay at the show to take full advantage of the activities on offer. MYS staff will organize your visiting schedule on board the superyachts available for purchase or charter. Meet experts at the Monaco Yacht Summit to discuss your next yacht project.
