Cala Carbo

Cala Carbo is a secluded cove that feels much like a private beach which is rustic and chic with its retro palm leaf umbrellas and sun loungers.Tourists do not overrun this beach, and so it’s a popular spot with the locals. Cala Comte

Ibiza Town (Eivissa)

Ibiza Town (known locally as Eivissa) is the picturesque port capital city of Ibiza. It’s known for its humming nightlife and top-notch restaurants. However, the true must-see is Dalt Vila, the fortified historic hillside district accessible via an old drawbridge. Portinatx

There are three areas that make up the Portinatx area: S’Arenal Gros, S’Arenal Petit and Playa Porto. The area is a great place to escape to in August when other Ibiza beaches can be noisy, busy and crowded. Mesmerizing views from the lighthouse make the area popular for long scenic walks. San Antonio

Stunning beaches, incredible restaurants, and a slew of outings and activities make San Antonio a holiday dream. There is something for everyone when it comes to local dining. The iconic “sunset strip” deserves at least one meandering walk, stopping by the Café del Mar or Café Mambo. Children will get a kick out of the aquarium at Cap Blanc, located in a natural cave used as a lobster nursery in ancient times. San Carlos

San Carlos was a famous hippie haven in the 60s and 70s. This quaint village on the north end of the island still has a definite bohemian feeling to it. The renowned Las Dallas hippie market isn’t far away with a handful of restaurants that can be found around a white-washed church and Bar Anita, which used to be the hippie hangout of the day. The bar has a nice, shady courtyard and a great selection of art on the walls which were donated over the years by local artists who didn’t have the cash to pay their bills.

San Lorenz

Enjoy lovely views across farmland to pine-clad hillsides while taking a dip in the heated outdoor pool. San Lorenz is tranquil and serene and the perfect location for those who want to escape yet want to be close enough to the action of Ibiza Town. Even though it is more secluded, San Lorenz still has a wonderful selection of top restaurants. San Lorenz is an inland hamlet with beautiful beaches not far away. Head out of San Carlos towards the east to find the diminutive and divine Cala Mastella. For more of a social buzz, head to Cala Llenya with its soft golden sands and family-friendly atmosphere.

Sant Jordi

The traditional village of Sant Jordi is close to the Playa d’en Bossa resort and home to one of the most impressive and oldest churches in Ibiza. There are many restaurants around the square, but people gather in Sant Jordi mainly for the flea markets that take place in the Hippodrome, which used to be a horse racing enclosure.

Santa Eulalia

The quiet resort town of Santa Eulalia has a tree-lined promenade along the beach and a 16th century church on a hill overlooking the town. Even though it’s the third- largest resort on the island, it still maintains a laid-back feeling. Santa Eulalia is also known for its restaurant scene, so there is no shortage of places to dine. Tapas bars are especially popular.

Santa Gertrudis

Santa Gertrudis can be found right in the middle of the island. It’s surrounded by fruit trees and is the perfect blend of traditional and modern. This pretty little village is where the hippies, artists, and musicians gathered in the 60s and many still live in the area showing their art in the many boutiques, galleries, and cafes. There is a wide range of places to eat, from local tapas to more contemporary and healthy choices.

Talamanca

Three words describe this area of Ibiza: Idyllic. Beach. Life. Talamanca’s beach is shallow, safe, calm and crystal clear. Archaeological Museum

This museum is set over two sites, one in Dalt Vila and the other in the Phoenician necropolis of Puig des Molins. Both take you on a journey of the many communities that have lived on Ibiza during its long history with a display of artifacts found on the island from Punic and Roman times.

Contemporary Art Museum

Located in a 17th century building in the historic quarter of Ibiza, The Contemporary Art Museum’s collections contain an outstanding representation of the artistic creativity that emerged on the island in the 1960s. Works by artists such as Tàpies and Miralles, and lesser-known artists, natives or residents of the Balearic Islands, can be seen here. Museo Puget

Museo Puget, located in Ibiza town, shows the works of two famous artist sons of Ibiza, Puget Viñas and Puget Riquer. Set in a beautiful old palace, the museum divides up the works of the painters in two different galleries. It regularly has other exhibitions, such as photos of Ibiza in the past.

Amnesia

This hotspot is ironically named Amnesia since a night here is one partiers won’t easily forget. Amnesia has picked up the Best Global Club award three times. Be prepared for a late-night since the party doesn’t really get going until around midnight with the festivities going on until sunrise. Make sure to stay for the infamous Cream parties. Pacha is known as an institution in Ibiza and was opened in 1972. It became so popular it was actually franchised with clubs popping up all over the world. This is a popular spot for those who want to see and to be seen. For a legendary night out, Pacha is the place.

Privilege

Privilege is the spot for anyone wanting to experience what Ibiza’s nightlife is all about. Famous hosts have included P. Diddy and Madonna. The club has the capacity to hold 8,000 partiers, but with its 82-foot high ceiling and massive windows partiers can still get a terrific view of surrounding Ibiza. To really put things over the top, the club comes complete with a swimming pool!

Space

Aptly named, Space is out there providing a whole other level of a clubbing experience. Located close to the airport, Space has its own unique open terrace. When Space opens its doors, everyone knows the clubbing season has started. It’s a huge draw for big-name entertainers like The Chemical Brothers and Simian Mobile Disco. More than 20,000 clubbers pass through the Space doors during a season.

Ushuaia

Thousands of electronic music professionals from around the world gather for this three-day electronic dance music conference to discuss the future of this genre. IMS has gained a reputation over the past decade as one of the most important conferences in the world. And of course, IMS is not IMS without the end of the week celebratory bash.

Opening and Closing Week

The party season really gets underway with club opening parties in May and the season starts to wind down the first week of October with closing parties. As May nears its end, most of the super clubs are open and in full swing. The last week of May is when most venues host their famous opening parties. Closing parties begin at the end of September.
