A sunny open-concept great room comes with paneled wood ceiling and a stone-tile fireplace that brings nature indoors. The dining table has space for eight, and there’s additional seating at the breakfast bar in the fully-equipped kitchen. A separate loft space offers a place for kids to play or for grown-ups to catch up on reading. Its four bedrooms can accommodate groups of up to eight. The master suite with a king bed, en-suite bathroom, and its own balcony also comes with great views of the forest and hills. The second bedroom with a king bed and two bedrooms with queen beds have shared bathrooms.

Outside is a furnished terrace with a barbecue grill. Close by are the Tahoe City Commons beach and golf courses, just 10 minutes by car. Shopping and dining venues are in the village at Squaw Valley.

Olympic Valley

Olympic Valley, California (also known as Squaw Valley) is an unincorporated community located in Placer County northwest of Tahoe City on the banks of the Truckee River near Lake Tahoe. It is home to Squaw Valley Ski Resort, the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. Olympic Valley is the smallest resort area to host the Olympic Winter Games.
